1. Watched the game again Ger, I don't want to come off as a Rodon hater because I'm not but he was shaky again. Gave the ball away cheaply when we tried to play out from the back twice. Also, got caught out of position and if not for Bijol excellent sliding tackle/interception, the striker would be through on goal.

As for needs, I think if we had a forward who was better with the ball at his feet than DCL we would create a lot more chances, he just wastes too many good situations because he isn't skilled with his feet. Also, think we either need Stach to get better in the final third or we need to upgrade him with someone who is. Also, need a backup to Noah, we don't have anyone else with his physical profile in the team. If we had someone or if he had started I would have been very curious to see us test their wingbacks with long balls like they targeted Justin once they started going long more.

Don't think either of these things happen this season and we should still be aiming for 10th place but I don't see us reaching any higher unless we address those positions.

2. Really good victory. Just one caveat: playing 3 centre halves leaves us short in midfield. Neither Wilson or Aaranson offer enough strength or athleticism to make up for it and Okafor does not show an inclination to be continuosly involved in the game. At some point – next season ? – we will have to move on from the present structure. I think we can finish more or less where we did last season, but I'd be surprised yet delighted to be proved wrong. 70 years a peacock.

3. Bijol m of m.

4. Are we worried more teams might try to bog us down with similar approaches?

5. The strongest team sheet I've seen since we dropped out of the Prem over 20 years ago.

I'm talking first 11 and bench. Bielsa had a strong starting 11, but not much depth.

I'm a believer once more. I wasn't sure about the owners, but it looks as if they're taking it all very seriously.

6. Trafford the bijol for me

8. Excellent result, we dominated first 30mins, forest are a poor team, but after 30mins we made them look good . We can't continue to put DCL up front on his own, he had no one to play off, makes it so easy for defence to deal with, we could of won that 3-0 but we always regress backwards due to lack of pushing on with two up front. Changes needed at half time to press more but same as always and opposition are encouraged to go forwards as we present no threat. We got away with it at Forest but should of been a lot more pro active in our subs and formation.

9. Great Podcast Ger!!🎉🎉🎉

10. Fantastic result for 1st game of the season 👏 👍

11. Great result yesterday Ger. onwards and upwards. MOT

12. This is a great summary of the match Ger thanks

13. Bijol was excellent a warrior. Just wish we could score in open play too

14. Clean sheet is the main thing here. Last season we would have conceded, we looked solid yesterday. If we get a couple of attacking options before the end of the window we could be cooking.

15. The only channel i use my hype for.

16. Was brentford good or was spurs really bad

17. Great win but still think DCL was a bit isolated he needs someone next to him

18. Amazing result, and the only away win of the day if Im right MOT

19. Hello ger, thought our defense was very good. And when I looked at the beach I was impressed. Great result away from home.

20. I'm very happy with the points but let's not get to enthusiastic…..It wasn't the best of games.

21. For me, we are showing the same frailty as we did last season. I know it is the start of the season, but we have played a number of friendlies with basically the same team and the majority were there last season. Inaccurate passing. Needlessly giving the ball away, especially in midfield, and then we have to chase.
So many times passes were made that went straight to the opposition, or were easily intercepted. Rodon and especially Ampadu appear to be guilty of this.
I feel that this is one of the major criteria that separates the top performers from the rest. Pin point accuracy where you can pass the ball effectively all the way up the pitch.

22. Great to see scum and Spurs in the relegation spots 😂

23. Good win,but looked rusty and uninspiring.100 PC need another striker…but thought JJ was very good..so take the win….AND KEEP SHOPPING….😊🎉

24. BTW @CeeBee to confirm. LUTV is £3.49 per month. The highlights of a game come on 1 hour after the finish of the match, Extended Highlights 3/4 hours after, and the full match comes on the next day (Notts one 12:15 am). There is audio coverage of the game, plus members can see the post-match discussion live. The audio commentary of the match is good, but I prefer the Watchalongs with my friends

25. Thought Bogle and Tarik were excellent

26. Great result and I'm for Yorkshire 😊 my Manchester fans won't enjoy being around me at the pub tomorrow 👊😁🤣😂

27. Definitely felt like the first game. felt a bit rusty but good win. Already half the amount of away wins we had last season 🤣
A quality creative player in attack and we could be flirting with Europe

28. 11 more wins to be safe out of 37 matches.

29. Hard fought victory. The team dug in, the clean sheet proved to be significant – well done Trafford and the defence. Onward and upward.

30. This was a prototype of how we will utilise our strenghts to overcome our weaknesses this season.
The 'Wall' D.F has constructed in front of our gate keeper Trafford will win us more points than not , whilst keeping us in games until we can beef up the attack to be a potent force by itself.
All in all a clean sheet was the most pleasing aspect, as we roll 3 points closer to the 40 points mark.
The sooner we reach that we can change gear to full speed ahead

31. Trafford already worth points

32. Great result but shows we need more creativity and Farke still terrible at subs.

33. Tarik is a definate upgrade on Pascal

34. I love you channel Ger – the best Leeds content creator by a country mile – maf in Portugal

35. Does a number 10 fit in with our favoured system? Surely Harry Wilson has the pedigree to provide the extra creativity, once fully bedded in. Thought we were superb out of possession today in a real battle. Can’t see many teams winning at Forest MOT ps pretty sure some of us are getting carried away – though we can dream

36. Hi Ger, enjoyed the watch along. Think i will stay with you as you are a Cork rebel like me. Also enjoy your daily news and your podcasts too. MOT

37. I thought both Ampadu and Stach were sloppy in possession. Got the win though, nice to be off and running with 3 points away from home

38. Brilliant Brilliant Brilliant!!! Team looks together, tough opponents and what a bit of quality from Stach!! 🤍💛💙

39. farke still can’t bring himself to sub aaronson wilson was far more of a goal threat aaronson the managers pet

40. Great result. Great show.

41. I am glad we've managed to shut Roy Kean up who said Forest would win!

42. Perfect summary Ger. alls well that ends well!

43. Scum in relegation zone. There is a God

44. Leeds United News rated Justin a 4, harsh but 7.3 is generous. I was not surprised that Okafor replaced Wilson. Aaronson had a much better match, and Wilson's loss of concentration cost a goal. DCL had the cross timed perfectly. Farke frowns on brain cramps. Trafford was awesome. Distribution was a big improvement over last year.
