  1. I am not sold on Glassner as being the panacea to what this club needs, there should have been a clean out of underperforming players in the off season and more directed spending, on players that are required to expedite results from the get go this season, not get whacked twice within a week by Leeds United. Neko Williams has been under performing since the selling of Elliot Anderson to Man City, there was a definite connection between those two and they operated with a real purpose in most matches last season, but now Neko looks lost and it is reflecting in his performances so far. The word around on Chris Wood is he is snail slow and he's gotta go, but honestly I would start him any day of the week over Ndoye, we have a greater chance of getting goals with Chris Wood on, even if he is at pedestrian pace and walking,….. than Dan Ndoye. We have shed ourselves of Morato and Taiwo why have we still got Dan Ndoye? I would re-sign Anthony Elanga if we could get rid of Dan Ndoye. I do not understand why we get rid of managers that are proving their worth, to go and sign up a so called name manager who based on an experience somewhere else we hope will show up at Forest and weave some kind of magic trick over our team. Stick with the manager that is doing well with the team, Pereira at the end of last season had figured things out with the players and had the fan base on board and the team went nine straight games without a loss then, BAM! he's gone! The wave of utter despair I felt the day that went down was palpable…. WTF! If somethings not broke for F-sake, don't fix it! There are people at this club making decisions that would not be safe working as a lollipop man at a zebra crossing for school kids. There is baggage at this club both high and low that have just gotta go, do we have to start planning, even at this stage,to think about having to go into salvage mode for yet another season? Let's hope not!

  2. It's a top-down problem, chairman getting rid of Vitor and starting afresh with a shiny new manager was insane. Glasner is a one trick pony and a slow starter, but the clever thing he has done is that lucrative contract that pays out if he's sacked off. Glasner also doesn't stick around long and has fallen out with every club he's been at!!!

  3. Lots of pain on here, but also some good comments. Maybe Coventry should be given more respect. Are they really "the worst team in the league"? All of their games so far have been against teams in the top ten. Against Man City they let in a single goal – away from home! The Brighton game was a heavy defeat – but Brighton just thrashed Arsenal 3 – 0!!!
Consider also that Coventry were playing you without their two best strikers and without their best central defender.
Hoping this takes away some of the frustration and the pain of losing today.

  4. It’s simple. We haven’t got the pace to play Glasner system and he won’t change it so he has to go he’s a good manager but he’s just not right for the Reds. It’s simple as that Gibbs-White looks a shadow of his player he was last season.

  5. Think we're going to see ourselves in a relegation battle again. Called it this early last year. In excusable to lose at home to a team that's been turned over more than a cheese toasty.

  6. In Glasners system MGW is just a runner,he does not really have a free role which he needs…a slight adjustment to a 3142 maybe could work…plus it allows us to have 2 up front..Glasner will get a tune out of these players..and yes I do like Vitor, but Glasner has more trophies in his cabinet(I think)..😮

  7. Way too soon to be calling for Glasner, to do anything other than continue to coach our players… We've got a great bunch of players.I really do think we've got some great players, but that some of them are new, and the ones that aren't new have been through how many coaches last year? We just have to be patient.I really hope Marinakis will be too? Watch this space…

  8. Completely gutted about this one. I was wildly optimistic, Glasner seemed steady and confident, the Villa game was a huge improvement and there seemed to be work in progress. And then this. If it wasn't for the garibaldi shirts, I would thought this was a dull Championship game between Coventry and Derby.

We have turned WFCG into some kinda Stadium of Shame. A place where Dr Forest can cure every misery but his own. And Wolfies drugsdealing sure won't make our players wake up. This was utterly crap all the way, and the only joy was that we managed to put Spurs down to 19th place. Thumbs up for Coventry, they deserved their first PL-win since decades ago, and I wish them the best for the rest of the season.

  9. Here is a typical Forest game, take lots of shots over the bar, keep the game to nil nil at half time, get to the second half, let in a late goal, run faster (like they should have done before) and dominate but don't score, lose.

  10. When NFFC made their way back to the Premier League, I was asked by a friend to pick a team to support, so we could talk trash to one another… I randomly picked Forrest (I’m and American and never watched football) and now I’m fully invested. It’s been several years now of completely self inflicted anger. This team drives me nuts.

  11. Awful!! absolutely shocking performance from all the players…some were worse than others ie Ndud. £13 million a year think he is the 2nd highest paid manager in the league. Needs to get things moving in the right direction especially at home. Transfer window needed to be better. Enjoy the break guys, u reds!!

  12. The players are confused.Too many coaches and too many different systems.
Should of never got rid of Vitor. If wasn’t for Vitor we would be in the Championship league.
    Glasner is getting 13 Million!!!

  13. I missed it today. Only caught odd bits of commentary. Unfortunately, the result wasn't unlikely, was it? We hadn't scored a goal in 3 competitive matches at the City Ground. Coventry hadn't scored at all. 0-0 seemed a very likely outcome. In the end a single goal was enough against us. When we do get the ball in the net, it's disallowed. We are in trouble because we can't break down teams who let us have the ball and sit back a bit. Not just this season, either. It explains why our home record since promotion hasn't been good. We're actually better without the ball! In away games the onus is on the home team to attack us, they leave space at the back and we might get a couple quick counter attacks. Teams coming to us know that if they play defensively, we haven't got the skill or the firepower to get past them, and they can pick a moment when our focus slips to get at us. I'm not making this stuff up. My son just sent me a stat, very depressing. This is our fourth season since promotion. In that time how many games have we won where we had more than 50% possession? It's not a big number – FOUR!!!! We haven't got enough to be a threat against well schooled defenses and we don't look especially tight at the back right now under this new system. I can see us picking up points away, but at home things are going to be really tough until we find a lot more guile than we have now. I think Mr Glasner should be very concerned. 1 win in 6 competitive games is better than Ange's record, but not by much.

  14. I woke up at two thirty in the morning in Australia to watch these soft pricks play.
NDOYE too busy trying to find a free kick no heart needs to be sold
No central midfielder controlling the game.
    No decent through balls
Caught sleeping at the back for the goal.
Jesus should start always trying to do something on the field.
    Arrrrrggghhhh.

  15. Murillo is far from the player he was last couple of season maybe he's not fully fit.
Williams shooting starting with the villa game is reverting to how it was a couple of years ago. Obviously some good shots / finising from time to time.
Basically all the players need shooting practice.
As Wolfie said,Ndoye looks like a nice guy, but unfortunately, not that good.
But lets not get too down. Terrible terrible result ,but still early days.
