My takeaways from this game as a Liverpool supporter (same as the Newcastle game really):
1. Ngumoha cannot start games as his fast twitch movements means he burns too much energy. He must come on as a sub.
2. Gakpo must be a starter on the left
3. Munoz must start on the right
4. Hugo ekitike and Szob are our main guys this season
5. Trey Nyoni needs to get more games
6. We shouldn't have let Curtis Jones leave as we needed a local lad with passion for the club
This is coming from the guy that said we should let salah go when the Saudis came in for him and keep Diaz. I've also been saying that we need to keep Gakpo.
Last year after only 5 games in I said ekitike must start over Isak as I could see his quality from the off. But fellow Liverpool supporters were telling me Isak must be number one because we paid all that money for him 🤦♂️ (I bet you these were the same people saying give salah what he wants smh)
I've also been saying that Wirtz's attitude and ability does not match. I believe if he doesn't come good this season we may need to let him go.
