  20. Bone bruising can be absolutely brutal. In my experience, the femur is fecking murder. If you have ever had a 'proper' dead leg where you can't walk for a week, you will understand. I also had severe bone bruising on my tibia before and it felt like it did when I fractured it.

  24. A bone bruise is microfracture of the bone that doesnt break it but damages the the tissue in the bone itself. Mild bruises take a couple months to completely heal, a bad bone doubles the time to recover. Had one. It sucks something awful.
