This is a myth that's been busted. Though Arsenal did give forest a kit for their centenary in 1965
ARSENAL DONE NOTTINGHAM FORREST A FAVOUR BY GIVING THEM SOME PRESS FOR THIS STORY TIED TO ARSENAL
Should have known this as Forest fan , really interesting, love the history.
As a gooner, it's great knowing more about THE ARSENAL
Never knew this lol
And we now want that debt repaid (with interest!). Bukayo Saka would just about cover it.
If my football history is correct, Forest also helped Liverpool and that's why they also wear red, even Brighton and Hove Albion were helped by Forest but they don't wear red, Arsenal yes as I am a fan I was already aware of this, we wear red as a tribute to Forest
Now I see why Arsenal and Forest 🌲 have a great respect for each other.
Interesting 👏
I'm not sure that that photo was Herbert Chapman – could you double check and advise please? Otherwise, great content…
COYR 🤝 COYG
COYG north London and Nottingham is Red !!!!
Nice piece of history there
A lot of 🔴⚪️ supporters didn’t know this COYG
if you didnt know this i suggest you go and research and read more about the clubs history. either club.
Nottingham is a bigger club than Arsenal so it makes sense.
This is a nice content. More please
And the reason why Juventus have that iconic Black & White kit is because Notts County sent them a full set of shirts.
Thanks I always wondered why Arsenal and Nottingham Forest were friendly and had respect for each other. Now I know.
And now you know….the rest of the story!
Beautiful 😊
